Its 6 in the evening and you are busy in writing and debugging code. Suddenly a mail pops-up saying "You are requested to travel Ecuador, Quito". Your hand freezes, you stopped writing the code and kept staring the mail for a while. Ecuador, Oh My God, It's 16,000 Kms away, It's like another part of the world, even the flights take 26+ hours. You have never travelled overseas, neither stayed more than 3 hours in flights. You think of calling mom and telling all this, but then you realized mom is worried about you when travelling Hyderabad from home, she would never agree with this travel.
And you have just three days left for the trip, you can't go back home to meet mom. After all these thoughts, you take a long breath and go back to coding.
And the day comes, you travel to the amazing country, a naturally beautiful country which you realized through flights window. A country where you can't understand their language and they can't understand yours. A country which a treasure of beautiful girls, and decent men.
You spent 165 days in the country, some of the days were marvellous whereas other were hectic.
One thing which was noticeable "the attitude of the people", so down to earth and courteous.
You walk on to cross the street, the guy on the wheel slows down the vehicle and asks you to cross the road. The queues in the ticket window, for the elevator, depicts their decency.
On the weekend the enjoy their life to the full extent, you won't find anyone sitting at home. All will be out to the park, restaurants, bars.
They have allocated more places for sports complexes and parks than the residences. They have local markets where they sell the tradition attires and souvenir. The will ask for more prices and the way they (the beautiful girls) bargain that your heart will come out.
In malls, you would find differently able people working at the baggage deposit counters, amazing!
